Step 5 – Periodic Reviews
- The audit report may demand a mid-term review to be carried out about half way through the certification period (12-24 months after your initial certification).
- During this review, your chosen audit firm will verify that your systems are still working effectively and that you have addressed all non-conformances. A mid-term review audit is usually shorter and cheaper than a full certification audit. It can be limited to desktop work, but sometimes requires on-site visits.
- At the end of the certification period, you will need to carry out a re-certification audit to renew your company's certificate and RJC membership.
