Prepare For The Upcoming Board Elections – Annual General Meeting

Prepare For The Upcoming Board

RJC Nominations are now open

All information regarding voting and how to access the nominations is listed within the email(s) from rjcagm@lumiengage.com to the designated AGM contact. If you have any questions, please contact rjcagm@lumiengage.com.

OVERVIEW OF AGM PROCESS

The RJC board elections are fast approaching, make sure you have your voice heard. Board elections are how our members directly shape the leadership and strategic direction of the Responsible Jewellery Council. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is where we officially announce the new board after voting closes, but it’s the elections themselves that give members the power to ensure balanced representation across the jewellery supply chain, uphold strong and transparent governance, and support the continued credibility and effectiveness of the RJC in advancing responsible business practices across our industry.

WHAT ARE YOU VOTING FOR?

The board includes representation from each member forum, with up to three Directors per forum. Each year, the longest-serving Director from each forum retires, and a new Director is elected to fill the vacancy. Directors are elected in their personal capacity rather than as representatives of their employer, ensuring that they bring their individual experience and perspective to the Board. This year we also have three board officer positions available for nomination – Vice-Chair, Hon. Secretary and Hon. Treasurer.

COMMUNICATION – KEEPING INFORMED!

All election communications will be sent to one designated AGM contact per member by a specialist agency, LUMI. LUMI provides a secure platform for members to submit nominations and vote. Members can view their AGM contact via the member portal. To view your AGM contact, please click into each contact and view contact role.
