Responsible Jewellery Council, the world’s leading sustainability standard setting organisation for the jewellery and watch industry, welcomed Istanbul Jewelry Show, one of the top five international jewellery events in the world, as an official Supporter. Supporters of RJC play the very important role of extending the outreach of the RJC through disseminating information about the RJC and its activities to their respective contacts.
“I am confident that a strong partnership between RJC and Istanbul Jewelry Show would bring added value to our mutual efforts to promote sustainable development and responsible business practices in the jewellery and watch supply chain,” said Melanie Grant, RJC Executive Director.
As a Supporter, Istanbul Jewelry Show commits to making the following in-kind contributions to RJC:
- Take a leadership position in the industry by strongly demonstrating your commitment to corporate social responsibility.
- Provide speaking opportunities throughout the year at industry events.
- Targeted support to the Turkish sector.
- Translation of the RJC Code of Practices Standard (COP), Chain of Custody Standard (COC) and related self-assessments into Turkish language.
